Just to give an update on my progress, After studio yesterday morning, i spent the afternoon working on the 3d model.
Considering the design progress that Steve had made to the model last friday i focused on implementing structural elements, and inturn work has begun on the deck sub structure. Kate mentioned that Steve wanted to work on the timber decking so i left it for the time being.
Work has also began on the exposed rafters beams above glazing and roof elements.
In terms of the above all members have been angled from the courtyard as a number of walls had the same angle. Roofs are pitched at 5 degrees and and wanted to seek approval before i raised the existing walls Steve had completed in terms of different heights and whether or not they were to include any louvers/glazing to the north.
A number of design changes were also made, Ryan was keen to add a pond to the design, as he had a number of ideas for graffic presentations that included water. Kate and i discussed possible locations so i put in a retaining into the mesh, if its not the right size or in the right position feel free to let me know and ill make appropriate changes tomorrow.
In terms of assignment completion, as we discussed yesterday the 3d model needs to be completed by friday so the boys have enough time to complete digital and visual presentations.
I will be in tomorrow from 9 and intend to stay to get as much of the model done as possible. I Will aim to complete work on structural members and move to interior works, in which i will have to talk to Ryan tomorrow to clarify what elements he was hoping to implement in artlantis i.e picture framing etc.
